Thanks Spuddy, the laptop will be on the go again recording everything. Last time it recorded 0-100mph in 7.9sec

Thats just rediculous! I've not seen the car running from the top of the strip, I'm normally sat in my own car waiting for a run but from what I did see its just crazy.

I think a few of the spectators lost their eyebrows that day! The huge flashes of flame coming out of the side exit exhaust where nuts!

might be a good idead to keep this post only for the win a drift car.....just incase any new members might get confused as theres skyline pictures , engine gears etc and its going way off topic ...only pointing this out...

Ahh yes, I was thinking of that blue skyline.

I remember you though, your the nutter mapping the car on the drag strip! The new gear set looks like I cost a few pennies! Running a shorter box this year myself, that on its own should get me an extra 0.5 sec never mind the other goodies :)

Yea its always good to record real time,
Air temp, Water temp, Knock levels, inj %, ign timing, speed, Air flow, Boost, AFR and many more all get recorded 4-8 times a second and plotted on a graph to see were can be improved

I've some sort of problem with my setup, its been bugging me ever since I forged the car, changing into 3rd usually though sometimes 4th the car just fails to light the fuel and gurgles though once I lift of and plant the throttle again away she goes.

Seems to only do it if I don't rev it out long enough, starting to think the big injectors I put in aren't suited to my engine.

A few live datalogs would work a treat in my case but I don't have a wideband, can monitor near all the other stuff though through the ECU.

Sounds like overfueling on a section of your map.Overfueling feels underpowered untill it leans out a little

I have a few AFR gauges for sale if you want them, comes with a 0-5v output for logging too :hmmm:

Pay attention Chum. This thread is for the Drag racing on 14th March, not the drift car raffle.
