me and mel where talking last event about getting a driver profile section up and running. mainly of the regular udc guys but we could branch off to some of the ama guys maybe

so be prepared to get your photo taken at some point during the next ama / udc event.

its to make spectators know who is who out side of the car.

just a little warning to the drivers to get the comb and gel out for the next events

It will be done in the best possible taste, this is also a chance for the UDC drivers to promote them selves in relation the marketing their car, skills for furture sponsorship.

I think those head shots should be paired with a pic of their car, preferrably in action, but not necessarily. Possibly easier to get a cool pic in static position.

the possiblilities are endless, although it all depends on how you wish to do it, in what format, with what technology and who will be updating it!

i think the way it is done here is done well
http://www.formulad.com/drivers/

i like the way that you can see all the drivers, then when you click on a driver's face, it gives you a bit of a biog about thereselves with a photo of there car in action, and driver specs down the right hand side, probably not that overly required, but still makes it look a hell of alot better!

darren mcnamara being one of the drivers from the south, though his profile is a bit on the small side compared to the likes of Rhys Millen's profile

kinda shows how it can be done good, and done very well, and tasteful to both degrees

and not hard to get the info from the drivers also, pen, piece of paper, and ask them the questions between there driving scessions etc, would not take to long

the other thing i have noticed is the driver pics are in current order of there standing in the championship, and change accordingly, yet again quite a nice small touch

Again, it depends on technology, spend time to build an application to handle this so any one can manage it, or do it by hand (basic HTML) which would be quicker in the short term.

Anyone else know a bit on programming to lend a hand?

Anyone, please.......... Wayne, do you remeber the wee app I had a few years ago which I was working on for the drivers results, maybe that would do?
