i wouldn't complain barry its easy on the pocket lol. i'm in the same situation but i wouldn't have had as many runs out as you. although i'll not complain either

a friend of mine is in the same position, 235/40x17 hero's £45 of the self in gormleys vauxhall in omagh and seem to last forever i still can't blieve it's possible...... not much smoke from them though

its funny cos ive gone thought 4no new sets in one day at nutts no bother.but in fairness i have just adjusted all the rear settings toe and camber ect

I would not know what the answer is, but couple of years agao I was like BMC, huge camber loads of tyres, now camber is sorted and very well to my liking, but still some days i can go through 3 sets of tyres others 1 set??

Prob depends on the weather and how the track is, I also find some days my speed is higher and driving is more fluent around the track, on days like this my tyres last longer... other days dumping the clutch frequently not having the right angle etc etc tyres dont last as long.

....hear me talking like I am a pro ...:rolleyes: yeh right.

Just my observations on my experiences.
